So yeah, this is not the latest and greatest headphone from razer, but a solid choice if you’re looking for a cool pair of gaming headphones and you don’t have a lot of money to spend. I loved the gel cushions but hated the lack of 7.1 surround sound. Overall, they're still very comfortable headphones with good sound quality without thx enabled, and with the added bonus of the cooling gel, the thx button and volume wheel on the outside, and of course the rgb.

The razer kraken is great but not a gamechanger. This headphone contains a soft cushion made of cotton with a cooling gel that makes it comfortable. Clearly, razer wanted to build a device that can be a fantastic entry point for gamers no matter their platform and the kraken is just that.
